What are the Black Ops 6 Wonder Weapons? Wherever you find zombies in Call of Duty, you’re also bound to encounter Wonder Weapons. These devastatingly powerful tools of destruction have been a series staple since World at War first introduced the Zombies mode, and the Black Ops 6 selection is up there with the best.
There are five Black Ops 6 Wonder Weapons in the zombie game right now, but more special weapons arrive with each Black Ops 6 update. The classic Zombies Ray Gun is available on all Zombies maps, while each map has its own unique Wonder Weapon to boot. Here are all the current BO6 Zombies Wonder Weapons so far, and instructions for how to get your hands on them.

The Wonder Weapons available in Black Ops 6 are:
- Ray Gun
- Beamsmasher
- Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23
- The Bastard Sword
- Staff of Ice
Ray Gun
Is it really a Zombies mode without ol’ faithful? We certainly don’t think so. Though the Black Ops 6 Ray Gun doesn’t come with any additional bells and whistles, it has had a fresh lick of paint for a new era.
Beamsmasher
Unique to Terminus Island, the Beamsmasher is a tantalizing instrument of decimation. Though it may look like an LMG, the new kid on the Wonder Weapon block is, as its name suggests, a beam-based weapon that spews out a laser of pure Aether – well, its primary fire does.
That’s right, the Beamsmasher has an extra trick up its sleeve. The gun’s secondary fire sends out soundwaves that can affect multiple targets, slowing them and increasing the amount of damage they take from both the Beamsmasher itself and your other weapons. If that’s not enough for you, the Beamsmasher can also be Pack-a-Punched three times – smashing stuff.
Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23
First introduced back in the Black Ops 2 days, the Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 is a marvelously mulchy Wonder Weapon that turns a battered old jet turbine into a spinny, sucky blender of doom.
While you’ll lose some movement speed hauling this rather large aeronautical hoover about, the results it produces will be worth it – at least, if the “plethora of critically important improvements” made for this iteration are as good as the devs promise they’ll be. Just make sure you keep your mouth closed while using – you don’t want to risk ingestion of a stray eye, nose, or toe that may fly your way.
The Bastard Sword
The Season 1 Reloaded update added a new Zombies map in Citadelle des Morts, and a delightfully pointy new Wonder Weapon that adds some real bling bling to your shwing shwing. The Bastard Sword can cleave zombs in half and keep you nice and safe from projectiles with its defensive parry.
What’s more, the sword can transform into four elemental forms: Caliburn (fire), Durendal (lightning), Balmung (dark), and Solais (light). These aren’t just for show, either, as each form has a unique effect that will help you make short work of anything that staggers into your path.
Staff of Ice
The Tomb was the Zombies map added with Season 2, and is a gorgeous combination of long-since forgotten temples and tombs and the mysterious, almost alien, Dark Aether Nexus. For your Wonder Weapon here, wield ancient technology with the Staff of Ice.
The Staff is powerful in its basic form, able to freeze nearby enemies in a flash, but upgrade it to the Ull’s Arrow weapon (instructions are in the Tomb quest guide linked below), and it gets a powerful new attack, a Healing Aura, and two ice blast variations. Brr, it’s cold in here.
How to get Black Ops 6 Wonder Weapons
As usual, these Wonder Weapons are available in the Mystery Box for just 950 Essence. That said, it’s very rare that you’ll pull one of these weapons, so we hope your luck is in. If not, there are some ways to boost you chances, and you can even craft the map-specific guns.
To increase your chances of drawing a Wonder Weapon from a Mystery Box, you can use a very specific BO6 Zombies Gobblegum – Wonderbar! In fact, you’re guaranteed a Wonder Weapon with this rare gum. Add the Crate Power gun, and it’ll even be Pack-A-Punched straight out the box. Finally, do this during a Fire Sale and you’ll get your tasty new weapon for just ten Essence.
