Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 map for Trosky and Kuttenberg

How big is the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 map? Variety is the spice of life, they say, and if they are correct, then the KCD2 map makes for the most seasoned of experiences. It’s huge, it’s interesting, it feels alive, and just when you feel like you’ve mastered your surroundings, it throws you another area that’s at least twice the size.

Exploring Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a true joy; small hamlets, dangerous wilderness, huge cities – it has a bit of everything. Whether you opt for KCD2 fast travel or you prefer wandering yourself, the map is one of the most dense and believable in recent RPG memory. We have both KCD2 maps here, with key locations you should pay a visit – without spoilers, of course.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Trosky map

Trosky is the area you find yourself in after being released from the pillory. A handful of settlements in the shadow of Trosky castle, the inhabitants of Trosky are varied and allied with Lord von Bergow, keeping the peace so they don’t end up in the dungeons of the intimidating stronghold.

Trosky key locations

Troskowitz

Troskowitz is perhaps the most bustling of settlements you’ll find in Trosky, housing several merchants, including a trader, a carpenter, and even a tailor, who is very handy if you’re in the market for some new threads or you want to offload some pieces of clothing found on your travels.

Trosky Castle

Trosky Castle is defined by its two towers: The Maiden and The Crone. These were built on a natural rock formation, giving the castle an elevated position, and a formidable defense. Henry and Hans must get into the castle to complete their mission, but that won’t be an easy undertaking.

Semine

A small settlement with nothing much of note outside of the fortress on the north side. Quaint but full of potential; there is a combat arena on the southern edge of the fortress and a saddler merchant on the western side of the hamlet. Head southwest from Semine to find Lower Semine Mill, which houses a Miller with unclear motives and an underground fight club.

Nomad’s Camp

On the western side of Trosky you’ll find the Nomad’s Camp buried among the trees, rubbing shoulders with Rocktower Pond. The travelers that inhabit this camp can offer several important services, including a merchant and three skill teachers.

Apollonia

Apollonia is the rocky territory to the east of Trosky Castle and Troskowitz. It isn’t a settlement per se, but it does play host to a multitude of bandits and unsavory folk who make use of the caves and dense foliage to steer clear of the authorities.

Nebakov Fortress

A small, unassuming fortress located on the southern edge of Trosky, the Nebakov Fortress can punch above its weight in defensive capabilities due to the strategic nature of its placement. The people inhabiting it are a little odd, though.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 map: an old, yellowed map depicting the medieval city of Kuttenberg.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Kuttenberg map

You gain access to the new region around 20 hours into the main story, depending on how fast you wish to tackle the primary quest. The region itself is vast – much bigger than Trosky – and houses the city of Kuttenberg.

Kuttenberg is a much different beast from what you’ll be used to; bustling industrial buildings play host to thousands of residents. You can truly get lost in this huge point of interest, so here are some key locations:

Kuttenberg key locations

Fast travel points

Kuttenberg’s five fast travel points allow you to quickly gain access to the different parts of the city. You have one on the north gate, one on the west gate, a central one allowing you easy access to the markets, and then one on the southwest gate. We would suggest seeking out these fast travel points when you reach the city to make everything just that bit more convenient.

Merchants

Perhaps the first thing you’ll notice first is the sheer number of merchants dotted around Kuttenberg. Up to now, you’ll be used to entering a town and seeing one or two specialized merchants (a tailor, a butcher, etc.) while Kuttenberg not only has every type of shop you could hope for, but multiples in most cases. If you’re a shopaholic – or a thief – this is an absolute dream.

The Gunmaker

Kuttenberg is home to its own gunmaker, which is quite a rarity for Bohemia. For those who wish to purchase an upgrade for their KCD2 gun, or just stock up on ammunition, this is the best place to go.

Taverns

There are several taverns dotted around Kuttenberg, each with a room for hire, and a ton of gossip if you know who to ask. There is a tavern in the southeastern portion of Kuttenberg called the Devil’s Den, which houses all manner of miscreants and more than its fair share of unscrupulous folk. Excellent if you need advice or a job that may not be totally on the level.

Now that you know where to go on the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 map, it’s time to gear up and head out. Check out our best KCD2 swords and best KCD2 armor guides so you’re ready for anything that Bohemia can throw at you.
