Rachel Zegler’s ‘Snow White’ remake dubbed ‘ridiculous’ for woke changes

‘Snow White’ creator’s son says remake will make dad and Walt Disney ‘roll in their graves’

Rachel Zegler has brought Snow White far from the original, according to Disney animator, David Hand’s son, David Hale Hand.

The 93-year-old announced that he won’t be buying a ticket for the live-action remake since he disagrees with all the changes.

“The original was the way it should be. From what I’ve read, [the new film] bears no reflection to the original story,” Hand told Page Six.

“It’s so far off base that it’s ridiculous.” He went on to say that it’s enough to make his father and Walt Disney “roll in their graves.”

Supporting Hand’s views, his wife Sandra Hand added, “They’ve taken it and moved into the politics of what is woke … They’re taking a beautiful and beautifully drawn story and destroying what was Snow White. Why can’t they just leave it alone instead of coming up with a different story — make it a totally different character?”

“David’s father took so much pride in the film and he would say, ‘What have you done?’”

Zegler has been open about her woke changes to the movie, sharing that instead of waiting on a princess, Snow White would become the leader that she is meant to be.

She has also publicly voiced her opinion on politics, on U.S. elections, despite being asked by Disney to tone down her posts.

“Disney’s lead actress is out of control,” a movie insider told the outlet.

“They don’t know what to do … she’s an outspoken 20-something and Disney chiefs have called her directly and asked her to tone down her posts. They’ve called her management, but she won’t listen,” they added.
